Swing  modeled  on  John  Daley  and  as  such  is  comfortably  the  biggest  hitter  in  the  tournament  making  him   dangerous  on  par 5's. Wild  nature  of  his  game  means  James  blows  hot and  cold  this  fact  is  epitomised  by  his  10 shot  victory  in  2004  and  the  fact  he  hasn't  featured  on  the  leader board  since .

Outstanding  record   with  back  to back   individual  titles in  2006 & 2007  respectively.  Has  a  unique, some  would  say  technically   inept  swing  but  it  somehow  yields  great  scores. Possibly  has become a victim of his own success as he struggled to cope with the burden of expectation and a diminishing handicap. None  the  less  a  player  with  such  a  pedigree  should  always  be  feared.

An excellent rookie display saw Kenny gain three impressive victories. Has a rock solid technique and his golf has improved dramatically over the past 12 months  However his over analytical approach to achieving golfing Nivana has left him susceptable m   id round mental melt downs and his lack of length make him very insecure !

Comfortably  the  most  technically  sound  player  of  those  who  are  of  advancing  years. Still  has  length  off  the  tee  and  has  good  touch. This  being  the  case  his  record  is  quite  poor . Often  manages  to  snatch  defeat  from  the  jaws  of  victory  with  some  mind  boggling  shot  selections  and  tends  to  talk  himself  out  of  a match. Has  the  talent  lacks  the  temperament .

Outstanding  match  winner  going  3  years  without  tasting  defeat. His  victories  have  been  a  major  reason  behind  the Eagles  success . Has  only  a  moderate  golf  game  from  tee  to  green  but his putting is  nothing  short  of  sensational. Probably  harshly  handicapped  but a string  of  victories  means  he  will  probably  remain  so and is  likely  to  remain  anonymous  in his  quest  for  individual  glories.

A big hitter  both  in   terms  of  winning  matches  and  accumulating  points. Phill  has  developed  a  long  rhythmical  swing  which  has  seen  him  become  the  most  consistent  performer  amongst  the  higher  handicappers . Calm  persona  and  dogged  determination  make  Delboy  a  formidable  opponent .

Dave  has  featured  regularly  in  all  the  respective  Cotswold Connections Cup  competitions  giving  testament  to  his  consistency  down  the  years. Desire  not  to  let  his  team  down  has  been  both  his  strength  and  weakness  as  he  has  been  known  to  heap  pressure  on himself. Has  been  a  little  gem  for  the  Eagles  however  two  day  format  has  exposed  stamina  doubts  on  the  course  and  in  the  bar. Still missing in action !

Goes  from  the  sublime  to  the  ridiculous  in  a  matter  of  seconds. Don't  let  his  pleasant  demeanor  hide  his  steely  determination  to  win. Just  when  you  think  you  have  him  beat  will  suddenly  make  a  string  of  pars . Though  it  is  probably  fair  to  say  you  will  hear  him  utter  the  words  " four  three's "   during  the  evenings  entertainment  rather  than  when  analysing  his scorecard !Having said that he ramed this comment down my throat by claiming the much coverted king of the 3 s title !
